The food, service, prices and everything else is wonderful. Our favorite Italian place in Lakeland for sure!

Loved it. The food was authentic.The pizza was super cheesy and the pineapples tasted like they were fresh off the fruit.The lasagna was so cheesy as well. You could really taste the herbs and seasoning. The ricotta cheese was creamy and delicious. The portion size for the lasagna could easily feed 2 people.The service was fast, very friendly, and attentive.Would definitely come again to try every plate on their menu

Ordered food for 5:00 pick up arrived at 4:50. It is now 6:00 still waiting. No they want sales. I have eaten here before inside and took forever. Will not be returning. Would put zero stars but phone will not let me. Over 1 hour late for pick up.

This restaurant is very good. The service is friendly and caring, and the food is prepared to order and very tasty. No chain feel here. A very good Independent Italian restaurant.

Way too expensive for the amount of food! Go somewhere else if you don't wanna get disappointed. The first time I been here, you was able to see the ingredients but today there was nothing! I ordered the vodka pasta.

Craved some clams so decided to check this place out. The decor inside is nice and inviting. Inly draw back is tile floors without sound dampening installed. It got loud without being packed. I ate alone so the noise was just a nuisance. I had the antipasta trio for an appetizer due to 86 on the calamari. Nicely plated very flavorful only drawback was the crustini for the bruchetta was huge. Great meat and cheese rolls amd the caprese don't remember basil. The soup was nice. Bit more heat but that's a personal thing. The entree was clams fri diablo. It was hottest I've had at a resteraunt in the U.S. unless i made myself. Coulda been hotter but give them props. Pasta was on edge of being overcooked. Marinara sauce was just ok nothing to brag about or complain about. I would go here if craving a bit of italian. Pizzas i saw from across the room looked good.

This was my first visit to this establishment. Brought home food for the kids and I. The food was delicious. It's nice to find a real Italian restaurant in Lakeland. Being a transplant from Philly, I have very high standards for Italian food and pizza. Il Forno passed that test. If you find yourself this side of Lakeland, do yourself a favor and place an order.

This place used to be so good. Unfortunately, ever since Mic sold the restaurant it has gone down hill. I do believe tonight is the last time we will eat here.

If your from the northeast and miss the pizzas from there this is the place to go. We bought 2 and they were amazing.thin New York style crust brought my family back to memories from 6 years ago. Highly recommend it.

Ordered thru doordash my order was 1:30 late the pie was reheated and the garlic knots were tasteless and the put them inside a plastic bag. I called Il forno to see what the issue was because it showed the doordash lady was there for 45 minutes already waiting on my order. Doordash blamed Ilforno and Ilforno blames doordash that truly is poor service.

Always a good stop to make. I've tried several of their dishes and enjoyed all of them. The wait staff are attentive and on the ball, the manager tends to walk the floor asking the customers how they are doing.They make an excellent no cheese pizza for this lactose intolerant customer as well.

My neighbors highly suggested this restaurant for good Italian food. It was the best food I had in years. The service was enjoyable and our server entertaining and fun to be with. David was his name again thank you for David for taking fantastic care of my parents. We'll be back!!

Our "garlic knots" definitely tasted old and so did our app. Honestly the best part of the meal was the alfredo I ordered for my 4 year old off the kids menu. I literally went home spent the rest of the evening sick and ended up peuking everything up.

Best pizza in town, best calamari and best service. You cannot go wrong if you order their soup which is one of our favorites.The servide is great, Mick has a great team working for Ill Forno

The food here is always delicious. The waitstaff are efficient and courteous. Sometimes it's a difficult choice between saving enough room for dinner and filling up on thier trademark garlicky, chewy, sinfully oil-soaked garlic knots which only get better when dunked into a tasty side serving of marinara sauce. If you haven't been here, try it!

The food is good but the server we had was terrible. She took our order and then brought our drinks and took the order. Then nothing for 15 mins. or more. No bread, no salad nada. Then our food comes except for the salad and my pasta and I still didnt have the water I had ask for or bread. Several times I had to ask for my Pasta (Spagetti with butter and garlic). I eventually cancelled the pasta. Talked with Patty (I assume the owner) and let her know my displeasure. She talked with my husband and let him know that she would deal with the server.

I'm going to be honest, I was not that impressed with our first visit. We had seen Il Forno recommended by many people so we have it a try. We have yet to find a good Italian place since moving here a few years ago. The food was average at best. The bread sticks had no flavor. My husband said his Chicken Alfredo was nothing amazing and my pizza was rather soft and not like any other places I've seen. Neither of us even finished our meal, which is uncommon as we love food a little too much. It just wasn't worth it to fill ourselves on such mediocre food. I doubt we will return as nothing really blew us away. I feel like this is a situation where a place is simply overhyped.

On vacation and we decided to stop here based on reviews... If I could give a 10 star rating I would! this place is amazing! David is a wonderful server. Food is AMAZING and comes out so quickly. Not a single complaint.

Been going here for over a year. Never disappointed and the pasta is delicious. My favorite is the Alfredo sauce.

Pizza was cold. Garlic knots were cold and not garlic knots they were more like garlic bread rolls. Capreesee only had 3 small pieces and the tomato’s were complete mush. No crunch to them at all. For how expensive there food is you think you would get more and better quality.

.... if your not already on the way here you need to come right now!! The garlic knots.. are so so good you really have to pace yourself to get ready for your meal! I got the chicken Alfredo and my girlfriend got the eggplant parmigiana! Both so good lots of flavor and they give you a lot of food! David the manger / waiter/ awesome dude! Was great and all the staff are very cool and friendly! All of them help each other out and just seems like a well put together staff!

I loved this place! Food was awesome and came out fast (even during dinner rush). Server was great! Highly recommend this restaurant. P.s. Been going here for a year or two. Last time around we had an amazing waiter. I’m not the biggest fan of pizza but this is my mother’s favorite pizza place. The music is... interesting. They have a basket with free lollipops/mints to take one when exiting.

One of my all time favorite places

Had an excellent lunch experience. Went with chicken parm, manicotti soup and salad. Expected a wait but turned out to be no waiting ! Service was warm and friendly.

First time customer and had a delicious dinner! Huge portions full of flavor. The sun-dried tomatoes vinegarette was fabulous. Loved the staff too. Dave gave us lots of time and great conversation. Totally a place to go back to.

It's not on the menu but Il forno's makes the absolutely best carbonara. ♥️♥️ I always order it.. it's rich, simple, creamy and delicious! Added bonus, no one ever gives me a hard time about ordering something not on the menu. It's fantastic, the service is also great. I don't think I have ever had a bad experience! ❤️

Great calzones, the food is always hot and super fast service. We normally get the food to go but you will love the atmosphere if you eat in also. I definitely recommend ilforno’s Italian restaurant 100%. Great place to eat

Amazing food! Party of 6 we were sat immediately, drinks stayed filled, food came on time and hot. Our waiter (also manager) was knowledgeable of the menu. Will definitely return.

I couldn't say enough good things about this little place. You get a lot of food, the staff is tops, prices are great. Food is really good. Just wish they had more seating. Seems to stay busy.
